Species facts
A cold-loving whitefish introduced to lakes Pulemetske and Svitiaz outside its native range. Evidence is stronger and more recent for Pulemetske; stocking and the official capture of two specimens in Svitiaz in 2006 are documented, but current abundance and natural reproduction in both lakes remain unknown.
